Changing How We Play The Hand Dealt

In September of 2007 Randy Pausch, a computer science professor, stepped up to give a lecture to an audience of 400 youthful, vibrant and energetic college students. This ‘last lecture’ was a tradition at Carnegie Mellon University, where professors were asked  to give a hypothetically ‘last talk’ by considering what mattered most to them. Little did any of those bright shining faces know, that Paush’s Last Lecture was very real, you see, Paush had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Over the next hour and a half, Paush enlightens the audience with his humor, love, dreams and enormous faith, but never once does Paush take pity on himself. Because of Paush’s unique perspective on life, his story spread like wildfire and his video went viral.

Below you will find Randy Paush’s original Last Lecture. If you have not seen this video, please take the time to watch it, it will inspire you beyond imagination.
